"I came across interesting material for training modules on business / family budget management: Barefoot MBA. The concept is very simple: starting from a situation that is commonly faced by our target families, the method presents 2 very basic scenarios: the "good" practice and the "bad" one. Each story is followed by discussion questions, to help understand and apply the lesson. This method is very well structured; the stories are well written, simple and easy to use; there is a total of 16 modules. And a whole set of recomendations to adapt the tool to the targeted audience, time or space constraints, etc. Useful material to make the training modules we offer on most of our programmes more attractive, lively, and interactive; and thus more efficient! Several versions of curriculum are available for download on their website. The « Thailand urban » and « Thailand rural » versions are probably the most adapted to our South East Asian countries. There is also a curriculum for lndia, but only in the rural version. " Grégoire Héaulme - EdM - Head of Asian programmes - 10.09.09

Interesting initiative... though we'd like to see more tangible examples on this website ! But this should nonetheless encourage us to develop new, smart product channels...
