Our action

In the light of this situation, Entrepreneurs du Monde operates directly – or as a support – on microfinance programmes, that aim to place the poorest on the path to sustainable development, by offering:

• loans to develop an income generating activity,
• savings to be able to face unexpected expenses and build long term projects,
• training to encourage self-sufficiency,
• individual follow-up to ensure positive benefits of the services to all family members

In order to reach the largest number of families among the poorest, and to ensure the economic and social impact of our programmes, Entrepreneurs du Monde continually adapts its methodology : we try out new approaches, such as mutualist schemes, and play an active part in the sharing of experiences and best practices.  Thus, Entrepreneurs du Monde also has the objective to support other operators.
