Sources of funding

The development of Entrepreneurs du Monde's actions is funded thanks to private funds (around 700 sponsors and donors, individuals and businesses) and public funds (the French Minister of Foreign Affairs backs our activities by means of governmental co-financing). In 2007, our budget was 1 150 985 €.

Allocation of resources

Most of Entrepreneurs du Monde's funds are dedicated to developing new branches on the field, and indirect expenses are kept to a bare minimum. Detailed monitoring of all projects and transparent accounts are the guarantees we provide to our financial partners. The opening of a new branch requires funding in the first years of operations. Our target is to ensure the branches become sustainable by reaching self financing by the end of their fourth year of operations.
