Wilson, a PMS beneficiary in Haïti
Wilson lives in the commune of Delmas in Haiti. He has a workshop in the narrow streets of Okay City and is accompanied by Palmis Mikwofinans Sosyal (PMS), a social microfinance program of Entrepreneurs du Monde in Haiti.
“I live with my two children and my wife. I work the fabrics, cut them out and sew t-shirts. Then my wife cleans up and sells them at the market.
I have been part of a PMS group since 2011. I have borrowed money several times to buy goods. Each time they agreed to renew the loan. Every month I reimburse on the agreed date.
Our group meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month. I am the treasurer of my group. I have no difficulty following these meetings, I am always present.”
